I will say right now that I think Wintercoats (aka Melbourne’s James Wallace) Sketches EP is one of the best EP’s (if not the best EP) that has come out in 2011. I am in head over heels love with the track Blood Prints. Not many albums make you feel as good as Sketches does. It’s ethereal beauty (just as gorgeous as any track on Bon Iver’s LP or How To Dress Well’s Just Once EP) is something you don’t hear every day. And Cascine is streaming the album which drops Tuesday over at Soundcloud. Make your day better and stream away!
After falling in love with the childlike innocence in the video for Working on a Dream, my heart skipped a beat when I heard Wintercoats’ Sketches EP. It’s delicate, somewhat romantic, hazy yet full of emotion. Out on Cascine on September 27, yet available for your streaming pleasure below.

Since you jumped the gun, I am going to insert this track in between the last one I posted, “Sister” by Sea Oleena, and the one you posted, “Fever” by Burning Hearts. It makes sense to me sonically as well as just in general, because it was through Wintercoats that I came across Sea Oleena.
