First and foremost, i would like to introduce my good friends “Daylight Savings”. Other than the extended sunlight, and the increased chance of still being burnt by the sun a 5pm, Daylight savings will also function to bring a more comical aspect to this years Grand Final. 

Now i don’t give a fuck about who wins, but more so what will happen to the AFL fans who tend to celebrate. As we all (or most) would know, a standard time for lock out in Melbourne is 3am. And again, as we all (or most) know, that once the clock strikes 2am on daylight savings, it actually becomes 3am.

My Point?

Is there anything funnier than thousands of people realising that they being locked out of venues because they were unable to comprehend that 2am - 2:59am actually doesn’t exist?

I for one intend to watch the comedic spectacle of people having there “nights ruined”, becoming angry or upset, arguing and reasoning with bouncers, have there friends desert them because they were already inside the venue.
